7 week old advice

Hi there :)
So my dd is 7weeks tomorrow , and it's currently taking 6oz every 4 hours .. but sleeps right through from about 12-7,
With her last feed being about 11. But yesterday my hv said that babies should be feeding 8 times a day ? But dd has went from 8.8 to 11lbs in this time ? So am I wrong for doing what I'm doing ? She did slightly drop a centile but is now following steadily ? X

I must say my hv just said this in passing and didn't tell me i must feed her but I now feel bad ?

Sounds perfect. All babies are different

My eldest did the same. If she is growing well, having lots of wet and some dirty nappies then she is getting what she needs. Babies don’t read the rule book. Enjoy your sleep!

Exactly my thinking ! Sometimes she stirs but soon as the dummy goes back in she's out Again x thank so much for the advice guys .. also I know the back of 11 is late for a 7 week old but I can't complain with a 7 hour sleep at any time of the day haha ! Xx
