White noise machine recommendations

Hoping to reclaim my phone... Any magic product reconmendations? I like the look of Ollie but he doesn't stay on all night, and I want the white noise to be continuous. It would also be ideal if it played either Brahms' lullaby or Twinkle Twinkle as those are already familiar sleep cues.

We found alexa the easiest thing

I'd like recommendations too.

I've been using Spotify on my phone but being the paranoid person that I am, I googled white noise and found a study from America which said if you don't have the right machine/product the white noise can cause deafness in babies as it could be the wrong amount of decibels. Does anyone have any knowledge of this/know if it's true? We don't have it on loud!

We have the marpac hush which we love. its transportable and it goes really quite loud. There's no noticeable loop on it either. We have ours plugged in all night but it will last all night once fully charged. We used to use "heavy rain sounds" on Alexa but its reliant on wifi and if that dips the speaker would go off and the baby would wake!

Also found Alexa the easiest. 'Play white noise on loop' and she does it all night.

We use the deluxe Ewan as it turns back on when she cries and I honestly think that has helped her sleep! Highly recommend it.
If I want her to sleep in the car/pram (I too was using SoundSleeper app on my phone!) I have now got this giraffe from amazon and it's amazing. Sends her to sleep straight away!

I found the toy ones don't go loud enough!

We went with a white noise machine. We love it! Looks nice and you can choose different noises. Sometimes if DD is unsettled I'll change the noise so she can focus on it again and she'll settle back down. I love the rain noise, there's a womb noise and "shush".

We just put it near the cot and then charge it every morning.

The myhummy with cry sensor does 12 hours continuously. The batteries last about 3 weeks for us, but we don't have it really loud. We tried Ewen but he didn't cut it!

It doesn't do Brahm's lullaby or twinkle twinkle, unfortunately. But we found DS adapted quite well to a switch in white noise - he used a fan noise when he was a newborn, but we use the wave noise on the myhummy (purely because I love it and enjoy sleeping with it when we're sharing a room).

A sonos and spotify do the trick here.

We tried Ollie but as lovely as he was, he didnt do anything at all for us.

An old phone with no sim connected to wifi works for us. We have the same app on this and our phones/tablets so can recreate the same sound wherever we are.

Also fun to tell people your baby has their own smartphone and watch their faces Wink
