Tried water, squash, milk. Giving treats, taking something away. She has a lovely bottle and cup which she picked at shop. Have explained why she needs to. But she just won’t drink..... running out of ideas.

Ice lollies?

TheApprentice · 30/01/2020 17:19

My son was like this when little. We could sometimes persuade him to drink from straws rather than a cup. Otherwise maybe try ice lollies, jellies, fruit puree puched?

Pouches not puched

I would stop stressing about it, if she can see you making all these efforts to get her to drink and can see how much it's concerning you, then it can turn into a bit of a control game. Is she otherwise healthy - if she's not dehydrated then she's getting enough fluid from somewhere in her diet.
Foods like cucumber, melon, soups, all have a high water content.
