Best place to get car seat fitted

Now that mothercare is closed, what is the best place to get a car seat? We need one for my MIL's car so want someone to make sure it's the right seat/show her how to put it in herself.

John Lewis were good for us but not all stores do it. Do you have any independent stores near you? We have a fab one but it’s not part of a chain. It’s in wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Definitely not Halfords! I’d go to a specialist retailer if there’s one near you. Where do you live?

@Clettercletterthatsbetter why not Halfords? We have used them to fit all our car sets, they even fit ones we've not brought from them!?

Have a look on the car seat advice uk Facebook group. They have a list of specialist retailers and fitters. I'd avoid Halfords/John Lewis type places. In car safety centre are great.
