Silly Question

From a first time mum:

I have a cold and think inevitably DD will catch it but how will I know for sure? And how will I know when she requires calpol? Or will I just know?

Thanks

Both DH and I had colds and our DC never got it, I also assumed he would!

You'll just know though, she'll get a temperature probably and be snotty and uncomfortable

I have also had colds that DS didn't get! Fingers crossed for you.

He definitely lets me know if he's feeling ill. Give calpol if they have a fever. Otherwise, olbas oil, snuffle babe or the calpol plug in are your friends! With a nasal aspirator, I've always had the nose frieda.
