Should my daughter go to nursery?

My little girl (just 3) has had a cough since last Monday. I took her to the doctor at the end of last week as I suspected a chest infection however they said she doesn’t have one and it’s just a cough so should just go away on it’s own with plenty of fluids and paracetamol etc. Today she has been coughing loads, more now as she’s lying down in bed, but is alright in herself behaviour wise. Should she go to nursery tomorrow? She was off all last week and I REALLY struggled - I work from home and barely managed to get anything at all done, I’m really behind on all my work. If she’s ok in herself would you take her?

Coughs and runny nose, fine in themselves then yes, I take them. Any sort of high temp and I keep home. If they don't need calpol, off they go! Only other reason I would keep home with a cough would be if they were knackered from being up coughing all night. Just got over a bad cough here!

I only keep mine off with a fever or if listless and obviously very unwell. They have a cough and a runny nose probably 6 months of the year so I never keep them home for that.
