Stay at 5yr Old Party?

So my 4 yr old is invited to a 5 yr olds party. We've been to many similar events but always at village halls or play centres where I obviously stayed with my child. This one is at the child's home, the house is quite small and the parents (who I don't know very well) haven't indicated if I should stay or leave child there for the 2 hours. I'm not sure what the usual process is once kids are at school?

Just ask them?
I would stay with a 4yo.

You need to ask them. I would expect to stay unless the house/family/pets are familiar to child.

I would just see what other parents do. At 4, I would definitely leave them unless it was in a public place where there was no adequate supervision. Very few parents stay around here once they get to school age, except for the ones who brought younger siblings.

l would presume it was drop off, once they are at school.
Houses generally don't have the space for extra parents cluttering it up. Leave your mobile number and come back at the end.
