DC2 is one month, has a virus, ear temp 36.2-36 - too low?

Hi

Just that really. She has a virus I think, generally unwell, snotty nose gunky eyes (which am bathing) but feeding with wet nappies etc. GP yesterday said come back if temp over 38 (was 37.9 when we saw the GP).

I know to look out for high temp, but isn’t a low temp also one to watch out for? Can’t seem to find anything online definitive.

Thanks

Sorry that was meant to read 36.2-36.4 ear temp

That’s fine. The ear thermometers read about 1c lower than normal.

Both of mine have a 'normal' temp of around 36.5 with our in ear thermometer. Hope she feels better soon.
