I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I could really do with hearing some other’s experiences.

I am now 13 months postpartum. I was overweight before pregnancy (size 16) and put on quite a bit when pregnant. I slowly lost my pregnancy weight and am now back to approximately a size 16. But I’m an odd shape. I expected to have a bigger tummy pp but I didn’t expect for most of my fat to be sitting ABOVE my waist.

I seem to have a big pouch of fat over my rib area at the front which is now quite a bit larger than my actual stomach (I.e. below my waist) which is gradually shrinking. Is this normal??? Or do I need to see a physio or something? I don’t want to go to a physio and be told I’m just fat 😭 but I’m not sure if it’s normal to look like this...

Anyone else have this shape pp?

I definitely have fat in places I didn't really carry it before - high on the stomach above my belly button, and my upper arms.

I found eventually after I had finished breast feeding my first baby things went back to nearly 'normal' (I will always be wider in the hips I think post children) and so I'm hoping things will settle again after second baby.

I do carry some weight there too OP. I've been doing a beginners yoga course on YouTube and I'm finding that it's helping to tone me u a bit Smile
