Wondering if anyone has any experience of this.
DC had potentially impetigo or HF&M (I know, sorry to sound vague something went round Day Care, my DC was told Impetigo by Doctor another child told HF&M). DC had it quite bad in two particular areas on his face and on his elbows. Didn't scratch or pick it and we had antibiotics. It started the Friday before Xmas and had healed by around 10 days later.
It has left horrendous red marks though in the areas above though. Everything I've read says it doesn't scar but this is still awful and really doesn't look any better since the scabs have gone, still very red. Everything I've read says they shouldn't scar. One of the other children had it really bad across her chin. It started after my DC. Saw her last week and you would never had known it had been there.
Should I be worried about my DC?
