I have bought some bungenius pocket nappies second hand that have no inserts with them.

What do people stuff their nappies with? Can you use something other then the bumgenius ones?

Anyone tried making their own?

Anyone just used the pocket as a cover for prefolds/terries?

Thanks!

I was using a cheapy little and bloomz microfibre insert with a little lamb bamboo booster but found the microfibre had a lot of compression leaks. I now like the combination of a baba and boo bamboo insert or a Muslinz prefold in the pocket with a little lamb booster. DD is only on the smallest rise and the newborn prefolds fit in the pocket really well. I haven't tried a terry but I wonder if they would be too bulky and effect how the nappy fitted.

Baba&boo bamboo inserts are completely amazing! There are lots of groups on facebook where you can buy pre loved inserts/boosters if you want to try some different combinations out before committing.

@Irisincense have a look on Facebook for the nappy lady or on her website. She has a Facebook page for selling pre loved nappies and inserts and loads of friendly advice
