It's LO's 2nd birthday.
Planning to invite close family and friends. Particularly kids LO knows. The party will be more child focused is the hope.
The norm is to invite all our 1st cousins and close friends.

we have people that have never invested in a relationship with LO. This means, never coming to baby showers, birthday, general visit or other milestone events. We have seen each other at other events and they all live pretty close by. We have been to their events.

We have people that honour invites but there's no real relationship outside of that.
If we are going to cut the "traditional" guestlist, do we cut all that fall into the "not close" category? Do we cut both 1) and2 )? What about people with little kids? Do you make an exception if one of these people happen to have a small child?
Appreciate your responses. Please let me know if I need to explain this better.
