Car seat recommendations

Hello all,

DH and I have a fixed car seat (Joie 360) which works for us, but my DP want to be able to take DS and me around once DH is back at work (I don’t drive and DH needs car anyway).

They are looking for a car seat that can be removed easily from their car, so that they can just pop it in when they are driving DS somewhere. They won’t be doing it too frequently (once a week-fortnight).

They have isofix in their car (VW Golf, about 2006 I think), but I’m not sure which car seat would fit their requirements. Does anyone have recommendations for easily-removed car seats, please?

TIA!

I've found they are all fairly easily removed, just the isofix (especially spin ones) are a lot heavier. The Joie tilt is an absolute bargain- I think I seen it for £50 this week on an Argos deal. Gets great crash test results. We have it as we don't have a car so need for very occasional car hiring/lifts. It's incredibly light and portable and rear facing until 18kg which will be at the very least 4 for my little boy who is 3 and only 12.5kg. It's not as easy to fit as an isofix but once you learn how to do the seatbelts it's not an issue at all and for me the ability to use it in cars that dont have isofix outweighs the benefits of isofix.
