Soft spot on toddlers skull

Hi,

Can anyone tell me when the soft part on a toddlers head is supposed to dissapear please? My daughter is 22 months old and we are a bit concerned that her skull may not be knitting together properly.

Might juts be an overcautious parent though, well who isn't?

Many Thanks

i think the fontanelle closes by about two/two and half, i just felt ds3's head, he is 2yrs 8mths and he doesnt have it anymore

at my post natal class with ds1, a friends little boy still had his at two and a bit, the gp said not to worry too much and by three it had gone.

i dont think you need to worry, but see your gp or health visitor if you are concerned
