accidently found good thing for nappy rash

whilst on holiday i went to buy some cream for ds nappy rash,accidently picked up wrong thing-weleda baby calendula weather protection cream.used once before realising and his bottom cleared!!!glad i brought wrong thing now!

calendula aka marigold is fantastically healing for any sore skin - I've used it for years and even used it on my dog. The only thing you have to watch for is that Weleda use lanolin in a lot of their products and many children with sensitive skin will be allergic to it - I used one of their creams on ds's dry skin and it turned into infective excema.

startouchedtrinity oh no!he has ezcema but luckily since swithching to goats milk not often.hes been in contact with lanolin before when using wool nappy wraps.

Sounds liek you ds will be okay with lanolin. I think Weleda are based somewhere alpine so weather protection for baby skin will make sense there. Also ds' excema gets worse in damp weather so would like something for him!
