Can anyone suggest anything that works for teething? My poor 9 month LO is really suffering - have tried calpol, bonjela & teething powder & no joy...

Have you tried the bonjela junior gel? it has been a god send for my little boy.

I have nothing but sympathy!

DD really struggled with her teeth (so much worse than DS) we tried everything and any old wives remedies suggested. I'm not sure anything helped, it's just an awful process and a real cock up of evolution.

Ibuprofen is the only think we have found gives a proper kick, with calpol alternated

Anbesol liquid and nurofen baby works a charm. Ibuprofen is better for inflammation like teething than calpol. Anbesol completely numbs the gums. Hope your baby feels better ASAP!

Agree with PPopsicle, I also used to predose before bedtime with calpol and bonjela and treat in the night with bonjela (placebo effect!) and bottle or boob depending on age. I think some suffer worse then others. Have you tried the frozen teething toys?

Currently up with my 10 month old. He's miserable.

Alternating ibruprofen and anbesol and boob!

I hate teething. He's suffering so much more than my daughter did 😔

Thanks, I’ll give the ibruprofen a go. Really horrible times this teething business 😔
