Is Nuna demi grow carrycot safe for newborn?

Hi

We are looking to buy Nuna demi grow but the carrycot mattress is causing uncertainty. It is a plush ventilated mattress. I'm not sure if is soft for a newborn. The other carrycots seemed to have much firmer mattresses. Does anyone own one that can share their experiences?

I don't own the Demi, but I do have the Mixx carrycot, which I imagine has the same mattress. My daughter has been perfectly safe in it. We've even used it for overnight sleeping.

@Dyra thanks for responding. Is the mattress softish? A bit memory foam like? If so then it's like Demi.
