Hi All,

Our five month old has started on some purees and baby rice etc which is going great! Only thing is she is super constipated since - any cures you can recommend?

I know everyone will have different views but just looking for some advice?

Thanks

Baby rice can be constipating so maybe dont give it. Banana can also cause it.

This is why you wait till 6 months.

Are you giving water with solids? I used to give water with all solid meals as they get most of the water from milk

She’s 6 months on Monday but thanks for the dig!

Thanks all will try laying off the rice and up the fluids!

Apple juice or I think Ella's kitchen do pouches of prunes.

ClaireT1308 · 07/01/2020 22:02

Oh prunes sounds like a perfect idea! Thanks Smile

Tesco's prune pouches are only 45p which is half the cost of Ella's kitchen!

"p" foods and encourage water drinking. I found a satsuma (or similar) helped as well.
