2yo throwing

My 2.5 yo has throwing and hitting episodes that last all afternoon and I've reached the end of my tether with it. He threw something without looking today and hit the tv and now it's proper fucked.

He gets a warning. Then he gets sat down in a time out and we count to five. Then it's a time out in his bedroom. Although in reality there are gaps in between of good behaviour so it feels like I'm issuing warnings and time outs willy nilly.

He thinks it's fucking hilarious. He'll cry when told off. I talk about what and why it's wrong we count to 5 and kids and make up then he's right back to laughing and hitting or kicking or throwing. What do I do?!

No advice, but watching this with interest, as I have the same problem! We tell off, we warn, nothing works. Nothing is safe from his throwing tantrums.

Redirect the throwing into something he is allowed to throw.
We have an IKEA target with little velcro fish things. Can really help.
