What to do with baby when going out for food?

This may sound like a daft question but we’re going out for a family meal and I’m pretty sure me and my partner are going to have to take turns in holding our DS but just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions. He’s too young for a high chair and our car seat isn’t portable it stays in the car.

Not fussed about holding him And taking it in turns as we are only going to Toby Carvery 😅

Yeah you'll probably have to hold him or personally I found family members all wanted taking turns holding baby!

Pram? Or for a big family new, in a separate room I once took a bouncer chair which folded away easily.

Sling? It can be a bit awkward eating over their head but I had an entire wedding dinner with DC1 on my front in a stretchy sling

We just used to take turns, well in reality DH held ds whilst I ate in peace.

We got sat in a booth and he sat propped up between me and DP and when he fell asleep I laid him down between us on a blanket 👍🏼👍🏼
