11 month old - formula feeding

Good Evening

My 11 month old currently is on 4 6oz bottles of formula a day (however some days he drinks it all others he maybe takes 3/4 oz max a bottle).

I was wondering when I should start cutting down his milk and what bottle is best to stop?!

He feeds at 8am along with breakfast, 12pm along with lunch, 4pm alone and 8pm before going to bed.

Any advice is appreciated xx

I switched to cows milk at 12 months and took away the lunchtime feed first and eventually got it down to night time only and off bottles into a cup by 15 months.

We also cut daytime feeds (lunch first) in the beginning. Also switched to cows milk and a cup around 12 months with 'naturly' limited milk.
One kid we pretty much stopped all milk at meals at 12 months as he needed food to fill up and not be crazy the other we let it slide and she still takes a full glass instead of a meal sometimes now a almost 5 years. A lot seems to be kid dependent, so definet answer on what is best.

Thank you - i might stop giving him his 12pm bottle and change it to water in a sippy cup instead. Then gradually reduce the bottles in morning and 4pm.

He's been a great sleeper so don't really want to stop his 8pm bottle as he knows when he gets that it's bedtime.

Also see when moving to cows milk, did you warm this or give the child it straight from fridge xx

I warmed it for a while as I thought that would comfort him at bed time and then one day gave it to him cold and that's how he's drunk it ever since.

Could you give him his morning bottle in a cup instead or just offer water with his breakfast?

Sorry, it only posted half of my post!

There’s a guide here OP which gives details of what to aim for at 12 months Smile
