Planning on having DS christened in a few months time. The church have said they don't charge a set fee it's just a donation. Does anyone have any idea what a reasonable donation is?

Kind of depends on your income level.

I always give £50,

But we have a bit of disposable income.
If you are struggling on the breadline give less.

If you're planning a massive posh reception afterwards with caterers and entertainers, then you can afford to give more.

Traditionally one gives 10% of your monthly income to the church you attend.
