I was originally planning on keeping my ds in my room until he was 12 months old as that was what I did with my dd and she's a great sleeper. However my ds is a very strong baby and is now pulling himself up in his co sleeping cot and I'm worried he's going to climb out of it and hurt himself.
So I've decided it's best for him to go into his own room. Can anyone recommend any good sleep training methods for a 8 month old? We did controlled crying with my dd but she was a bit older at the time (14 months) and quickly soothed herself back to sleep. I'm not whether 8 months is too soon for that method? Any suggestions would be great.
