Swimming and ear infections

Hi,

I hoping to get some advice! My 4 month old baby failed his newborn hearing test in his right ear and we had to go for more tests. He eventually passed his hearing test but had since had two ear infections in the right ear.

I had my heart set on taking him to weekly swimming lessons but am now worried this could trigger more ear infections as he is clearly susceptible to them.

Does anyone have any advice? Or had similar experiences?

Many thanks!

Must have been such a stressful time for you. With him being so young and already having two ear infections, i would probably not take him. If he is susceptible to them I think it would be unfair on you both for him to repeatedly get them. There’s so many other classes you could try until he is abit older.
