Always 'mummy's turn' !

My DD is two - the last couple of months everything has become 'mummy's turn' - from nappy changing and bedtime, to reading books and changing clothes..

My husband has always been fairly hands
on - doing bedtime solo a couple times a nice, changing nappies

I feel really bad for him and worry he's getting distant from her, the more she says no to him doing anything, the less he does which makes he want him even less..

And it's just as hard on me.. even if when he is home to home, I end up doing everything...

I don't think it's separation anxiety- she goes to nursery 4 days a week fine, and stays with her dad and my parents with no problem.

Has anyone experienced this? How can i gently get my dd to allow her daddy to do more with her?

We had this. It improved when they started having Daddy-daughter time together out of the house every weekend.

You just have to go out alone more and the two of them will have to bond and get in with it. Smile
