What is it with boys and toileting. We've 4 between us ages 12, 10 and two aged 8. OHs eldest age 10 and my youngest age 8, seem to find going to the toilet impossible. If one of them isn't weeing all over the floor the other one is soiling himself and leaving poo pebbles everywhere. Its driving me mad. I have no issues with my eldest and OHs youngest is fine. Just the middle two. It's like living on a farm, the mess and the smells. OH seems oblivious and laughs it off and I end up cleaning up.
Just needed to vent. Someone please tell me it's not just our kids.

My 9yo who is bright, independent and socially aware is really struggling to master weeing standing up. Despite being shown by DH, he regularly comes out of the bathroom with an embarrassingly wet leg.

It’s not just you.

My ds always sits so no pee on floor.

DH is 35 and still regularly sits to pee, he says it's because he's lazy and has terrible aim, is rather that than splashes. No one is going to complain if they don't stand up to pee.
