We've got ourselves into a bad habit of letting LO come into our bed when he wakes about 3-4am. He goes down in his crib around 7.30 and wakes for a feed around 1/2 but will only go back down for an hour or so then it seems he's wide awake . I've tried rocking him an putting him back but he wakes straight away & wont settle until he's in my bed with me. I let this happen because I was so tired in the beginning it was the only way I could get another few hours, but now I'm worried we won't get out of the habit! We've tried white noise , bottle , rocking , in my bed until he's asleep then back in his but within 10 mins he's awake again. I love cuddling but I don't want to co sleep with my baby I want him to be in a good routine! Any advice pls

Babies love to keep us on our toes don't they! How does your LO get to sleep at the beginning of the night and after the feed? Do you feed/rock him to sleep or does he self-settle? Also, when he wakes up is he crying or just awake and babbling?

If it works keep doing it. It’s not a bad habit, he is just tiny and wants a cuddle. Of course he will eventually grow out of it.
