Co-Sleepers - where do your babies sleep during the day?

We're planning on co-sleeping with DB4 (due yesterday!). I find it easier for BF at night. We've not got a cot or moses basket, which we did have for the other 3. They usually slept in there during the day and went in initially at night. First feed during the night I'd bring them in with us.

Did anyone do without a cot altogether?

We accidentally co-slept with DS. During the day he would sleep in a sling or in his pram. He didn't go to bed until we did, until he was about 5 months if I remember rightly. Then he went into a cot until we came to bed, which he still does now at 11m. We did have a crib ready and waiting but he was having none of it

dd1 never ever came into our bed but with dd2 we co-slept until a few weeks ago. She slept and still does sleep anywhere during the day. Pram, car, rocker chair, swing, on my lap, on the couch (surrounded by cushions).

We don't have a cot at all for ds2 (over 7 months now). He goes up into my bed at night with a bed guard on one side and a long huge pillow on the other. Monitor also on so we can hear him wake and be there before he crawls about. During the day he sleeps on me or on whoever is about or in the pram or car if we're out. I used to sling when he was younger but he's a big boy, 19lbs at 23 weeks or thereabouts, and I have a bad knee and 2 parts of my back which cause me a lot of pain and it's worse carrying extra weight. I do still carry him a lot but it's hit and miss with my pain.
