Just put dd to bed with a motherease all in one on - will it last the night?

I normally use disposables but got a trial of some reusables and have just put dd (6months) to bed with a Motherease all in one nappy on without an additional liner and am now wondering wether I am going to have to go up and change her before I go to bed or will it last out til morning?

Sorry but I am pretty clueless when it comes to reusables - I know I should be ashamed with myself but at least its biodegradable disposables I normally use.

can you just tell me what the wool soakers are i keep hearing about them but have no clue x

nappyzone · 27/08/2007 21:03

nor did i till recently - now i have some and want more - they are a wrap or like shorts or long troos that double up as shorts or pj bottys. They kinds self clean and are fab for nightime as very breathable and amazed me next a.m. when the nappy was soaked but the wool was dry!!!?? Bummfluff (flame) has some on her site if you want to check them out - i should have some on my site (nappyzone) also in small ads bit in a week or so. I was sceptical but am now a possesed wool searcher!

twospecialgirls · 27/08/2007 21:08

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 23:38

Indeed he is... but he is a weird shape so his longies are shorter in the leg than most (although you say you like cropped...)

Flibbertyjibbet · 28/08/2007 23:46

Twospecialgirls if you google 'longies pattern' or 'soaker pattern' lots of links to free patterns come up.
I knitted soakers for ds1 and am just about to cast on to knit some HUGE ones for ds2 at night - I bought a disana wool wrap and he can undo the velcro, even through his sleeping bag so you can imagine the soggy wee smelling bed in the mornings...

nappyzone · 29/08/2007 10:26

i am selling some stash to fund some pixie knits as i have to have them!!

twospecialgirls · 29/08/2007 22:09
