I have to start with DSE212 exploring Psychology as I dont have enough Psychology in my degree - even though I got 100% in my A-level psychology, did 2 units at leverl 3 of my degree and taught Psychology in a local college. But heyho - i am looking forward to doing it.

Ecmo · 09/09/2007 18:27

1st year of part time foundation degree in graphic design...did an HND 20 years ago in same subject but its all computers now so am doing it again to get updated and hopefully get a job at the end.

Niecie · 09/09/2007 18:39

That seems a bit unfair! I did a year long subsidiary course in psychology whilst doing my first degree which is how I got my exemption. I bought the books for your course in Waterstones once to get a taste of the OU. Looks interesting - a little bit of everything. I hope you enjoy it.

Squiffy · 10/09/2007 09:23

Final year of my part-time masters in Organisational Behaviour (workplace psychology, HR strategy and stuff like that). Should be an easier year than last year - I hauled myself and my 2-week old C-section stitches into London to start the course, and went back to work full-time 6 weeks after that.
I was deranged at the time, obviously.

BrightShinySun · 10/09/2007 12:23

Hello! I am starting my AAT Level 2 next week, also doing an access to HE course over the next couple of years so that one day I might be able to get round to doing a degree!

cheritongirl · 10/09/2007 13:07

I am starting the pt GDL law conversion course in October - so in 4 very loooong years time i might be a solicitor! (hoping to do family and immigration law, none of that loadsamoney making malarky). Am feeling very apprehensive - have a 10 mo and although its all taught at weekends so my dh will do childcare, i wonder if i will really have time/energy to stay the course, especially as i would like to have another baby before the 4 years are up! Ah well, i am just seeing it as an adventure. Anyone know anyone who has done this course/know anyone who did it? All the best to all of you - shall we keep up this thread to encourage each other on the way??

I am going to my enrolment and induction today

I'm quite pleased to have something differnt to do to take my mind of everything else going on in my life at the moment.

My mum bless her, has made sure that she will now not work Tuesdays so that I won't have any childcare worries as she will drop off and pick them up and give them their tea and whilst I am at college she is going to clean my house

Peachy · 11/09/2007 09:19
