just how exhausted are you? I feel completely done in at the moment. dh is working away from home and have children of 6, 4.5 and 3. Is this normal? Just feel there is never a moment spent not meeting their needs.

So pleased to find this thread,if a little belatedly.

We'd love a third but I'm finding just 2 (dd 4.3 and ds 1.3) really hard work at the moment. We've just moved house -to Cambridge and know no-one, in case anyone's out there and fancies a cuppa! - and are all feeling a bit unsettled I guess. We do love it here though and dd starts reception this week so normality will resume, I'm sure. I'm just alarmed at what little tolerance I seem to have right now and worry that a 3rd would tip me over the edge some days. But dh and I have this sense of not quite feeling complete that others here have talked of and I just can't imagine not having another.

It's really playing on my mind at the moment, so thoughts from those of you who've made the brave decision, or no, would be great right now. Feeling a bit lost!

rapunzelle, can i borrow your husband?

Sorry. he's far too busy knocking up some pasta for supper to be of use to anyone else

He is amazing but stays in touch with his masculinity by not knowing what the washing machine looks like or where the clean towls are kept!
