My ds (3) is generally a really well behaved boy. Every now and then ds really plys up, and no matter what we do, he just ignores what we ask him to do.

We've tried:
Kneeling to be same level to him,
Standing
Sitting him on naughty step (he sings and just says "I'm Being Ignored".
We've tried putting the toy area (as he often misbehaves by thowing his toy at dd - 22months), but ds screams really loud.

What else do you do?

Thanks (ashamed to be even asking really)

There is a book that lots of people on here use and think well of called "How to talk so Kids will Listen and Listen so they will talk" I think there is a related ongoing thread in chat at the moment, perhaps this might help.

Sorry I have no practical help to offer, ds is only seven months. Don't blush, isn't this what mumsnet is for? . Also if he is generally well behaved, you must be doing alright!
