The past week my food loving baby has gone off everything she was fully weaned eating three meals a day. She’s now refusing all solids and hasn’t eaten a thing in a week now so worried that all the hard work I spent weaning her is now gone and don’t want her to lose lots of weight any tips on getting her to eat other than that she’s fine in herself so don’t know what it could be ?

My eight month is the same I’m not particularly worried about it though as he’s still getting all his milk, sleeping through and seems happy enough. I’d try not to worry?

My 7 month old son did this recently. Just went off everything. I obviously panicked, but my mum pointed out, as long as hes still drinking his milk, hes ok. And he would soon let me know if he wasnt lol.
Probably worth mentioning that during this period, he didnt go off his yoghurts lol. That was the only thing he would open his mouth for lol. It didnt last too long. I decided to change up his food a bit, and hes been fine since. Have u tried different foods? Other than home cooked, my son was having ellas kitchen. He wont touch them now so I switched to hipp.

My DS (11 months) periodically refuses to eat, or eats very little, though he still breastfeeds. It's always his teeth, whether there are other teething signs or not once they're through he'll start up again. It is stressful but we just keep offering food, extra milk feeds and try to avoid any stress or pressure to eat. Could you try calpol or teething gel before a meal and see if that helps? Or mix up the temperature/textures/delivery method (blw or spoon, letting him pick from your plate etc)?

Thank you ladies I’ll try not to worry she hasn’t got any teeth through yet so could be that! I’ll just keep offering different foods x

After refusing his food for a week (but being fine otherwise) mine is now back to eating normally again. Hope yours is too.
