Christmas Eve, what to do

Hi very stuck on what to do Christmas Eve every year we take a trip out and do various activities whilst out including yearly visit to build a bear. I have broken my foot so very limited and can now not go on the day out. What can I do at home with a 9 year old and 2 year old? Something fun and Christmassy too make the day special.

Decorate a gingerbread house (you can buy ready made kits)
Track Santa on NORAD
Make Christmas hot choc (Xmas sprinkles, marshmallows, cream and candy canes ) and watch a film (Christmas chronicles on Netflix is a good one)

Do some crafting, read The Night Before Christmas together.

Can you invite some of DD1s friends around to watch a Christmas movie?

I can second a ginger bread house. Takes a bit of time and my kids loved it.
