Not sure if I am looking for advice, more commiseration, but my 7 mo dd has been continuously ill for the past two months with what seems like 3 different combinations of cold/flu that (I am assuming) she's picked up in various baby groups we've been to. She is still not well, sluggish, snotty and has a bad cough.
DH is in between jobs and has been at home as well whilst I am on mat leave, so the three of us have been ill for the past 2 months, not sleeping etc and it's just really getting me down. Is this normal for babies of this age to get sick often or for long periods of time? How long does it usually last? Is there anything at all I can do to help prevent it? I am not used to being so ill for so long and we follow all the usual sanitary guidelines. Help!
