Baby acne 8 weeks

Hi, does this look like baby acne? My boy is 8 weeks. At first it looked rashy... sometimes there is some yellow heads, sometimes looks really spotty and now all around his ear is red and flaky. It's only on his cheeks, chin, ears.

Baby acne / milk spots / eczema?? Anything I can use to help?

It looks like excema to me. My two both had dairy intollerances and had similar.
Have you tried moisturising with anything? Deprobase for example?

hi, to me this does look exactly like baby acne. How long has he had it? My last dc had a bad case and it took 3-4 weeks to pass through. I tried various creams but only time cleared it up. Am sure it will for your ds too.

Baby acne. My advice do nothing and avoid washing face. Honestly, my third child had the best skin of all my children, probably because she didn’t get a bath very often...

Hi yes looks like baby acne. Only bathe in plain water and use coconut oil as often as possible and it really works. It's so upsetting to see my daughter had it this summer at 4 weeks old.

Mine had this and it turned out I was washing them too much, the shampoo bubbles/water from hair-washing aggravated it.

I reduced to a couple of baths a week and it cleared up.

This is DD’s face at 8 weeks. I would say that it is baby acne too.
Our gp told me to wipe her face over with E45 on cotton wool rather than washing her face which seemed to help.

Are you breastfeeding? If so likely caused by hormones going through your milk. Mine had it and it passed by 12 weeks, didn't need any treatment other than normal washing.
