Weaning reflux baby at 4 months with cmpa

Please help! I'm feeling very overwhelmed at the moment. My 5 month old DS has dairy and soya allergy. Both delayed reaction as confirmed by the dietician. He is on nutramigen formula. Which he is doing well on, although still has reflux. He has infant gaviscon for that. He's growing well 75th centile. (He was a big baby when he was born).

The dietician recommended weaning early, so have been trying the last few weeks. We learnt the hard way that Apple does not agree. Then when I found a list of foods to avoid etc I've tried parsnips and pear. Both of which seem fine with no reaction. I tried mango yesterday.. Well.. you live and learn! He was up nearly all night screaming if laid flat, he also has a cold and is teething...!!! Rough night to say the least.

I feel at a loss as to what to feed him. The list for ok foods is very short at like 8 veg. Any suggestions or experience is welcome. He has to avoid wheat until after 6 months as family history of allergy to this. So that may also be an issue for him.

Any help is greatly appreciated x

There are some good Facebook groups for weaning CMPA babies - I found them really helpful. Do a search and they should come up.
