Baby not eating enough fruit and veg

DD is 9 months and we do a combination of BLW and baby food.

She doesn’t eat that much food when she’s with us although I know she eats more when she’s in childcare (3 days a week).

She hasn’t had a single bit of fruit and veg today. She threw some tomato on the floor, had a bit of tomato pasta and hasn’t wanted to touch anything else.

How do I get fruit and veg into a baby?

Don't worry about it yet Smile

She's still getting all the nutrients she needs from her milk, the idea now is to just get her used to different tastes and textures.

Time will tell what she likes and what she doesn't but just relax and keep offering her new things to try.

Just keep offering lots of variety. Where you can sneak veg into meals (grated carrot in bolognese, spinach and berry smoothie for a snack, fruit as ‘pudding’ after some meals), try to do that. But honestly, they just learn to like it from trying lots of different things over a long time. Both of my love fruit and veg (they’re nearly 7 and 2, did blw for both) and I didn’t do anything special other than offering it regularly. Just make sure what you do offer tastes nice. Don’t boil the life out of carrots, roast them with garlic and herbs, add butter and other fats, etc. Make them the way you would want to eat them yourself.
