Does this need medical attention? She's never bitten before and tonight she's bit her sister and it's broke the skin. I don't know anything about bites and google isn't much help.

I'd call 111 and see what they suggest. Puncture wounds are hard to clean.

That's a nasty bite.

tinkywinky2 · 10/12/2019 17:45

Awful isn't it, I can't believe she would do that I'm so furious. Thanks I'll give them a call.

Definitely get advice there. They may recommend an antibiotic

Bites often get infected.m - especially human and cats! I’m sure she’ll grow out of it. How old was she? Was it passion or fury?

FredaFrogspawn · 10/12/2019 17:47

Oops is she.

MissRabbitNeedsAHoliday · 10/12/2019 17:48

Agree with the above phone for advice it does look like quite a nasty bite Sad

tinkywinky2 · 10/12/2019 17:50

@FredaFrogspawn she's 3, her sister wouldn't let her go through a door so she bit her, it's never happened before it's so out of character for her.

Oh dear. I have to admit, I did the same thing to my brother’s friend when I was little Blush AFAIR he was fine with an antiseptic wipe.

Soubriquet · 10/12/2019 18:14

My ds has bitten my dd before but never broke the skin. Only badly bruised.

I would give 111 a quick ring just to check she doesn’t need anything else doing apart from a wash over

tinkywinky2 · 10/12/2019 18:17

Thanks everyone I've called 111 and I have to take her to the out of hours surgery this evening. I wouldn't normally bother and just clean it up and put a bandage on it but it's so deep and bleeding that I thought I best call up and see what they say.

How did your dd get on last night?
I'm sure your other dd has gotten a fright too! Hope they are both ok.

FredaFrogspawn · 12/12/2019 03:30

She’s just a baby. They’ll laugh about it together one day!

How’s the bite now?
