Trenches

I'm a sahm to toddler twins , nearly 2. They go to gps house once a week and I get a chance to run errands , give the house a quick tidy or do anything else for myself. I am still finding it difficult though. I feel utterly in the trenches right now , especially as they're teething this week.

Just need some positivity.

Of course it is difficult.
One x 2yr old can be difficult.
I'm assuming twins must be much more challenging.

You are lucky that their Grandparents have the energy and the inclination to give you that little bit of respite each week.

Do you get out and about much ? When my dc were little, I found the whole week went much better if we got out of the house every morning - even a run around in the local park in the cold helped shake out the cobwebs from me, as much as the dc.

Yes we are out and about every day. Every morning we are out.

My sister used to see us every weekend now I don't see her all week. It just feels like now we have kids we are less attractive. I know they are hard work but everyone will go through this someday if they want kids.

I lost my job 5 years ago and took a job just to get by because I wanted to start a family. I worked there for 2 years and was then pregnant and I've been off for 2 years with my darling twins.

I feel like doing something again sometime just don't know where to start.
