Hi

Ftm and first time post! Also I'm a bit sleep deprived so apologies if this message is all over the place but I need help!

My son is 7 weeks old and was an amazing feeder and regular with the toilet until around a week ago. He is bottle fed and nothing has changed. He started off as always screaming, crying when not being fed or sleeping. Now he is screaming while being fed aswell as any other time he is awake. Today is day two of no dirty nappy. I feel I've tried everything... Massaging stomach, pushing legs in, cycling them, giving him some water. Today seems worse than it was yesterday. He only took 3oz at 4.30am then 2oz at 8am. My partner said its good he's still taking bits of feeds but I'm so worried and feel completely helpless. He was on between 4/5oz every 4/5 hours before and has had no struggle with weight gain. Any advice would be appreciated... I can't cope with looking at him in pain any longer 😔

Keep track of his feeds and wet / dirty nappies. Hes still very young so I'd be inclined to call the health visitor and ask for advice... or seeing as its the weekend I'd ring 111. I remember ringing them lots when my lo was tiny. They don't mind and would rather reassure you than have you worrying and something getting missed. Congratulations on your new bundle

Yeah I was thinking to call them I wanted to last night but then another part of me thinks they will just tell us what we already know but it's better to always check! Thank you I just want him to go back to being content and not have that sore look in his face. It breaks my heart!
