First time dad needing advice on toddler

My son is 18months old and when he sits still every so often his fingers will twitch like to close open but the movement appears involuntary.

Is this normal?

I am a first time dad

I can’t quite picture the movement from your description but if it helps my Son is two years old and he often flexes his hands from closed fist to splayed fingers, sometimes it’s obviously deliberate, other times it’s almost subconscious like a tic.

If you’re worried I’d speak to your Health Visitor or GP they can advise much better especially if they witness the movement
