5 month old not interested in morning feed

I never had this problem with my first DS as he ate 6 8oz bottles from 6 weeks old, was sleeping through at 8 weeks old and never fussed with his milk.

My nearly 5 month old started waking earlier and earlier in the night. He did start sleeping through but then the 4 month regression, jabs and colds got in the way. He was going all night with out a feed but a few weeks ago he wakes at 3/4am and will not settle. I tried for 45 mins last night before I gave in and he drained 6oz.

Usual routine (which has just happened) is this -

6.30/7 - 7oz
9/9.30 - 7oz
1.30 - 7oz
4.30 - 7oz
7.30 - 7oz
3/4am -6/7oz

We have had a stomach bug and unfortunately he did catch a mild case of it and has had Diarrhea for a few days but it has stopped now, thankfully. But due to this when he was waking in the night I was feeding him to make sure he got extra fluids.

But now he’s better he’s still waking at that time and now is refusing his morning bottle! Shall I start to give him less milk in the night to slowly wean him off it?

I wouldn't try to get rid of it, personally. If he is waking at that time then he is needing fed through the night. Mine didn't drop her night time fed, which was usually around 4am until about 10 months. Id just go for a slightly later morning one.
