I know this is a odd question but I was wondering how many nappies children go though a daily at a year old ? i.e. How many wees/poo does a one year old child do in a day ?

Or does more than one wee go in disposals ?

My dd is almost one and I reckon we use about 5-6 nappies daily. Usually one or two poos. I'm sure she's not changed after every wee!

4 or 5 nappies a day. 1 poo here(!) and more wees than nappies especially at night

DD2 is almost 2, and uses an avereage of 4 disposables a day

Dd2 (18 months) gets through 7-8 a day , she drinks alot and takes her nappy off.

Def don't change after every wee, so don't know.

I use a mixture of disposables and cloth as am changing over to cloth but don't have enough yet. On a disposable day when he poos at the right time 3 nappies can last 24 hours! I don't think that's actually very good for him - can see the crystals on his bum. Bad mummy. On Cloth days he seems to get through about 5 or 6 in 24 hours.

we are using cloth but at 1 ds was about 5-6 a day.1 poo

My 20 mo goes through anywhere between 5 and 8 depending on her mood lol.
A dispo can last 12 hours plus and can hold a lot more wee than a washable nappy but would you like any baby to sit in there own outpourings for that long really no matter how well it is soaked up? I know I wouldn't. Much prefer cloth even if it does feel wetter quicker, at least I know what's next to babies skin.

DD is 11 1/2 months & uses 5-6 reuseable nappies per day.
When in disposables is 3-4

Changed after her 1 poo per day but certainly not after every wee!!

ChasingSquirrels · 23/08/2007 15:34

19mo - 3 a day (1 at night, 1 morning, 1 afternoon) plus extra if he poos at an unusual time)

claireybee · 23/08/2007 16:48

At 15 mo we usually use between 4 and 6 per day (reusables but dont change her any different if in disposables). Usually 2 in morning, 2 in afternoon and 1 at night, any more due to extra poos or power wees. No idea how many wees she does a day but change her straight after every poo (usually 1 or 2 a day)

I dont like my ds to wear a nappy for more than about 4 hours at a time during the day so we use about 3 or 4. He is pooing a bit more at the moment so that adds a couple more onto it. He wears a nappy overnight from around 6.45pm to 8am.

tassisssss · 24/08/2007 20:05

dd is 11 months and we only use 3 or 4 (and that's cloth nappies for the most part)
