I’m ready to move to formula fir several reasons but wondered if any has done this while suffering from mastitis?
Can I express to ease if I need to?
Advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes i did. I had to get my other half to massage out any blockages as i could knead my boobs from underneath properly. Made a massive difference.

I felt guilt for formula feeding for weeks after but my baby was thriving and I wish I'd done it sooner for my own mental health.

I tried every trick under the sun to bf my kids and avoid mastitis. I honestly thing my boobs were just shite a bfing.

Make sure you are getting lots of support from midwife, bf groups first.

... And yes you can express too but my partners massive hands and baby oil shifted the blockages better than a pump for me.
