Concerns about vomiting

Last Friday my 8.5 month old was sick 4 times between 9.30-10.30, I took him to the walk in the following morning as he wasn't drinking any extra fluids overnight, by morning he had had some milk and managed to keep it down. He's been fine since and has been eating fine and been okay with his milk. Tonight (Tuesday) he's started randomly being sick again, does this sound like a bug that's just come back or could it be something else?

Sound like a new bug. My DD always used to vomit at 3 in the morning when teething.

It’s hard to say not knowing you and him but it’s likely the same thing. Keep an eye on it, and if you’re worried call 111. It’s not chronic til it’s gone on a lot longer than a couple of days tho. your mama Instinct is the best source of info in this, keep it tuned as you are doing 😊👍🏼

Sometimes after a stomach bug, children become temporarily lactose intolerant. I could not work out why my daughter kept being sick yet seemed perfectly fine inbetween. I took her to the docs who told me to cut out all dairy for a few days & sure enough, no more vomiting. I slowly introduced it back after 7 days or so and all was well!

My daughter was 12 months though & so wasn’t too reliant on milk by that point.. if you think that might be the cause, maybe have a chat to your doc!
