Potty Training

My LO has just turned 20 months and I’m not sure if she’s ready to be potty trained. She loves sitting on the potty, if I say ‘do you need a wee?’ Or ‘get your potty’ she will put it on top of the toilet and sit on it for about 5 minutes. She will indicate for toilet paper and wipe herself then put it down the toilet, even though she hasn’t done anything yet. A couple of weeks ago she put her potty on the toilet and then stood in the corner and pooped in her nappy, I felt guilty I hadn’t got to her quicker and helped her do it on the potty. The last week or so she has been stripping off, she can get her clothes and pull-up off with ease so I was thinking, if she wants to be naked I might as well encourage the potty..
I’m not bothered if she’s too young, I’m more than happy to wait until she’s ready and won’t force it :) does it sound likes she’s ready? And if so any advice on how to encourage her?

Try reading the Oh Crap potty training book.
