8 week old baby with cold

Hi, my partner has been unwell with a cold/cough and now it has passed to me and baby who is 8 weeks old.

Baby doesn't have a temperature but keeps coughing and is unsettled a lot. Should a baby see a doctor with a cold?? I'm a first time mum and not sure if he needs to see a doctor or just manage him at home? X

Hi Op from my own experience drs generally don't mind seeing babies with colds it's better to check them over and I know under 3 months old it's best to get them checked over for your own sanity they won't think your wasting their time when it's a young baby
