Should I flip my (nearly) 7 month old tummy sleeper?

We’ve gone cold turkey with tonight in the big cot with no Sleepyhead (which I know isn’t recommended hence us removing now!) and my little girl has found a tummy sleeping position after a lot of acrobatics (no crying!) in the cot prior to this.
She’s soundly asleep with face to one side, I’ve checked on her a few times and her face is to one side, also got the video monitor on her and checking it more than usual! I’m just a bit paranoid.
She’s not a deep sleeper so if I flip her she will probably wake and start the whole acrobatics routine again.
What should I do?!

Just realised I put “face to one side” twice - can you tell I’m a bit on edge? 😂

I’ve always been advised that once they can effectively role themselves into that position, then it’s fine for them to sleep that way. It’s when they roll by accident (in the early days) that they should be put back on their backs

‘Roll’ not role

Yes if she can roll front to back you've no bother

I left my little one to sleep on his tummy from 5 months as he would scream when I flipped him.

If your little one is okay, I'd leave her but just check her a few times?

Once they can roll over themselves they’re fine to leave. Definitely don’t risk disturbing her and keep everything crossed for a good night’s sleep! Good luck.

if she can roll herself back to front and back then it's fine to let her sleep however make sure the cot is empty of all things.
