Indoor climbing toys

Hi all,

My 15 month old loves to climb (don't they all) and I am toying with the idea of buying some form of foam climbing blocks or one of those wooden climbing frames for inside. Does anyone have anything like this and is it worth it? Any recommendations? They are pretty pricey!

I bought a pikler triangle for our girls first birthday. I thought she was going to be a climber but she's not so it gets limited play. Her friend (17mths) was round last week and spent over half an hour climbing it and throwing herself off it. If you have a climber, it really might be worth the money.
But it's hard to tell as wooden toy groups tend to be evangelical about everything.

We got ours made by a local joiner who has them ce tested. Still expensive though! I'm planning on keeping ours as I would like another child, then sell it on after.

Hi @Rosebud1302Rosebud1302, what did you decide? I saw a rocker that turns into a climber yesterday - weighing up the rocker and the Pikler ... I saw this one but then also want the slide ! shoppompom.com/products/climbing-triangle?_pos=2&_sid=68b8b8e77&_ss=r

@AnneTyler12345 i think I've decided to hold fire for now! They are so expensive and we have spent a lot already for Christmas haha but that one looks cool! Would be interested to hear if your LO likes whatever you get :)

We have a Triclimb with a Miri slide that attaches to it. We bought them for DS's first birthday. He's two now and still uses them every day. Sometimes for climbing, sometimes for den building, and uses the slide for loads of things too.

Every time we have play dates all the kids gravitate to them.

They're expensive, but in terms of cost per use we've definitely got our money's worth.

Sorry, that'll teach me to RTFT! Well if you ever change your mind in future, that's my recommendation Blush

We did it - during lockdown! (The slide comes with it, so have saved the slide for birthday!)
